One morning at Roger Williams University, the sky turned dark and the wind howled like a wolf. Rain poured down in buckets, splashing against windows and flooding sidewalks. Students peeked out from their dorms and saw giant puddles, sideways rain, and umbrellas flipping inside out. Everyone had class, but there was no way to get there without getting soaked from head to toe!

Some students tried to run through the storm, slipping and sliding, their backpacks dripping wet. Others stayed inside, worried they’d miss something important. Then a group of friends had an idea—they emailed their professors to ask if class could be online just for the day. They also helped each other share notes and made sure no one was left behind. They didn’t just think about themselves—they thought about what was safe and smart.

By the end of the day, the rain slowed down and the sun peeked through the clouds. The students who worked together felt proud. They learned that sometimes doing the right thing means asking for help, thinking ahead, and caring about others. Even a storm can’t stop people who look out for each other! 🌈
